【京都大人旅①】紅葉の京都｜伏見稲荷から清水寺へ、秋の古都巡りのおすすめルート　Autumn in Kyoto — A Grown-Up Escape through Fushimi Inari and Kiyomizu-dera

たまには子連れではなく自分のための旅をして、好奇心を満たすのも大切ではないかと思います。家族の協力もあり、思い立ってママ友達と紅葉の京都に弾丸一泊旅をしてきましたのでご報告です。

朝の京都、朱色に輝く千本鳥居

朝6時に東京発で8時に京都駅に到着。まだ観光客も少ない時間帯の駅構内は、ひんやりとした空気とコーヒーの香りに包まれていました。ホテルに荷物を預け、身軽になって最初の目的地・伏見稲荷大社へ。

Arriving at Kyoto Station at 8 a.m., the air was crisp and quiet, carrying the aroma of freshly brewed coffee. After leaving our luggage at the hotel, we headed straight to Fushimi Inari Taisha, our first stop of the day.

朱の鳥居、光と風

朝の伏見稲荷は、朱色の鳥居が静かに光を受けて美しく、まるで異世界に足を踏み入れたよう。人の少ない時間に鳥居のトンネルをくぐると、木漏れ日の間から秋の風が抜け、京都の朝の静謐な空気を全身で感じます。

At dawn, the vermilion torii gates of Fushimi Inari glowed softly in the morning light — as if opening the door to another realm. Walking through the endless tunnel of gates, the sunlight filtered through the trees, carrying the cool breath of autumn.

古伊万里を探して

その後は電車で東山方面へ。途中、てっさい堂や観山堂に立ち寄り、古伊万里や九谷などの器を手に取りながら、ゆったりとした時間を楽しみました。京都の骨董店は、どこも洗練された美しさが漂っていて、見ているだけでも心が整うようです。

We took the train toward Higashiyama, stopping by antique shops such as Tessai-dō and Kanzan-dō to admire old Imari and Kutani porcelain. Each shop had its own quiet elegance — the kind of beauty that calms your spirit just by being there.

菊乃井露庵で秋を味わう

お昼は菊乃井露庵で。旬の食材を繊細に仕上げたお料理が、まるで秋そのもののように美しく、一品ごとに感嘆のため息がこぼれます。カウンター越しに見える紅葉の庭が、まるで額縁の中の絵のようでした。

Lunch was at Kikunoi Roan, where each seasonal dish captured the essence of autumn — delicate, colorful, and deeply satisfying. From our counter seats, the view of the maple garden framed like a painting, glowing in shades of crimson and gold.

器も本当に素敵で・・・

清水寺と八坂庚申の彩り

午後は清水寺方面へ。法観寺（八坂の塔）を背景に、カメラを持つ人々の賑わいを横目に歩きながら、八坂庚申堂の色鮮やかな「くくり猿」も見学。その後は圓徳院で一休み。庭園の紅葉を眺めながらいただくお茶は、静寂そのもの。

In the afternoon, we made our way toward Kiyomizu-dera. Passing by Hōkan-ji Temple and the colorful Yasaka Kōshin-dō, the city felt alive with autumn hues. Later, at Entoku-in, we enjoyed tea while gazing at the garden — a tranquil pause framed by red leaves.

京都駅直結のホテルで一息

夕方、ゆっくりと京都駅直結のホテルへ戻り、チェックイン。効率の良さを重視して選んだ立地でしたが、旅慣れた大人同士の京都旅にはこの快適さがちょうど良い。窓の外に夜の京都タワーが光り、1日の終わりを静かに見届けてくれました。

By evening, we returned to our hotel directly connected to Kyoto Station — a choice made for convenience, but it turned out to be perfect for our pace. From the window, Kyoto Tower shimmered against the night sky, quietly marking the end of a full, beautiful day.
